Ultimate Parking: Level One VII

Entry Number:7
Format: 1 Photo
Location: Public
Rating:0 (almost 3)

Three spots with one vehicle.
Thought I'd scored big.
But, it was not mean to be.

Shortly after patting myself on the back,
I was hit in the face with humble pie...
which was actually kind of sweet.

You see, someone actually went through the
trouble of contacting the place where the
delivery truck(s) usually park (wasn't me) and
well, whudda-ya-know?

No more delivery trucks parked in the special reserved spots.
There is a little hope...here and there.

Thank You: Japan Blog List

(Testing, testing..1...2... ah....ah...)

(Is this thing on?)

We would like to take a moment to thank The Japan Blog List for being as so kind as to put up a link to this site.

While receiving such attention is quite an honor and a privilege, feedback of any kind is welcome:

“I've not really understood this one. Something about photos of people parking..?”

Ahem...
Yes, photos of people parking…

Just yesterday, the author of this blog, reached out and 'communicated with someone' who shyly admitted to having done what he should not (mainly through the, "Oh, fuck! I'm late and this 'other' done called me on it" kind of slink-away way).

Main realization? I should do this more. And take pictures. And post them.

(And hope not to get shot)

Although this entry only gets a rating of one, the fact that the vehicle is parked in front of a 'convenience' store is, well, convenient. The rating is only one despite the brand appeal because the phenomenon is not really that uncommon.

Ultimate Parking: Level One V

Entry Number:5
Format: Photo
Location: N/A
Rating: 1

A nice, red car.
No special permit.

Just wonder what 2012 is going to bring.

To be fair or not too unbalanced, the image was taken at the entrance of a municipally run healthcare facility and there was precipitation, but nothing that required an umbrella. Noticing a baby car seat on the passenger side was cause to hesitate... just a little.

Ultimate Parking: Level One IV

Entry Number:4
Format: 3 Video
Location: Shizuoka
Rating: 3 (+2)

"Handicapped spaces in Japan seem more like a suggestion more than like a hard and fast rule."

35-second 'instructional' video showing where to get
stickers for your vehicle.

Okay, this next clip(below) is somewhat long-winded, as he says at the 2:11 mark, " I know I am giving a long-winded answer...." and he does go on later to say,at 2:34,"I have see several times, people who are clearly not disabled parked in the handicapped spots…sometimes handicapped spaces in Japan seem more like a suggestion more than like a hard and fast rule… although there is a law…an uh, no… (goes on to talk about younger genaration and actually makes a distinction between “Westerized” and “modernized”…basically saying what can be translated as “the youngin’s are selfish little snots…

But, you know what? In this next clip, definitely worth watching, he gets a Benz on camera, with the driver in it! Perhaps the driver could have benefit from watching the first video. Oh well.

The last 45 second clip is the best so far. Someone's seriously got to think of a better way to score these things. Anyway...

"Uncovering Inspirational Provocation..."

(First time viewers really need to start at the beginning, otherwise this might seem a bit confusing)

"Fertile Space"

Wonder if anyone will get the picture of what

this is all about?
